Requirement

When the Lacoste team contacted me to develop a capsule dedicated to lovers of French rap, I immediately felt a personal connection. The idea was to pay homage to the legendary group Ärsenik, whose influence on the French rap scene since the 90s remains undeniable. The project had to reflect the essence of their iconic style, while incorporating the timeless elegance of Lacoste.

A Sentimental Collaboration

This collaboration had a particular resonance for me, having grown up listening to the album “A few drops are enough” with my older brothers. It was more than just a fashion project; it was a nostalgic journey into my own past, a celebration of the culture that shaped my childhood.

A Homage to the 90s

With the Lacoste team, we have succeeded in recreating the sartorial universe of French rap from the 90s. Tracksuits, polo shirts and other emblematic pieces have been reinvented, while remaining faithful to the spirit of the era. These garments, once worn proudly by Calbo and Lino at the start of their careers, have been revisited with particular attention to detail and quality.
